Steel Cans: All metal food cans No food residues, paint, or aerosols Remove food, liquids, and labels. Rinse thoroughly. Alum. Cans: Beer and soda cans No foil containers or aluminum foil. Remove liquids. Rinse thoroughly. Plastics: All type 1 & 2 milk, soda, water, juice, bleach laundry. Threaded bottles only. No bags, flower pots, motor oil, solvent, paint, or pesticide containers. Must have a Type 1 or 2 on bottom of container. Rinse thoroughly. Motor Oil:     Must be leak proof container with lid. O'Reilly Automotive stores take used car batteries and motor oil. Tin, aluminum, glass and plastics are accepted at a recycling center located at the County maintenance facility in Forsyth.
